Nastasha Baron is a Hungarian born, Vancouver based screenwriter. In 1998 she began her studies at the Vancouver Film School with a focus on writing, directing and editing. She cut her teeth on a couple of self-produced student type short films before she established No More Productions, her production company. Nastasha then produced and directed the feature length film, Mu Sa Do. Although the film was critically not a success, it did find a home in over 25 countries. In 2002 Nastasha wrote the coming of age feature length screenplay Summer Storm, which in 2004 was selected for development by Astral Media's Harold Greenberg Fund. To deepen her knowledge of screenwriting, in 2004 Nastasha enrolled in Writing for Screen within UBC's Professional Development Program. After that she wrote a short script Mitigating Circumstances, which was short-listed by the NSI's 2005-2006 ZeD Drama Program. In 2005 Nastasha wrote and directed a short film about the Soviet occupation that followed WWII in her home country, Hungary. Children of Fate won multiple awards internationally, and at home was nominated for a LEO in two categories. In 2006, before narrative content existed on the Internet, Nastasha began writing the award winning animated web-series, Kingdoms of Grace. Having the freedom to distribute online allowed her to experiment with innovate styles and delve into topics that were too hot and risky for advertisers in North America. In 2010 Nastasha became involved in television series development with the Riot Writing Crew. She also continually develops feature length screenplays. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Nastasha Baron
